Introducing Cyber Pup: An Engaging Cybersecurity Game for Middle School Students

Welcome to Cyber Pup, the exciting new cybersecurity game designed to equip middle school students with essential online safety skills. In today’s technology-driven world, internet safety has become more important than ever. While it may not be taught as a core subject in schools, it is undeniably a crucial life skill that students need to develop.

Recognizing the lack of engaging resources specifically tailored for middle schoolers, we embarked on a mission to fill this gap. Cyber Pup is the result of our dedication to helping students navigate the digital landscape safely and responsibly.

Our game is designed to target middle schoolers, a stage in their lives when they begin to explore the internet independently. By presenting various areas and topics to be explored, Cyber Pup encourages users to delve into the world of cybersecurity. As they progress through the game, they will be rewarded for exploring all the categories and completing mini-games that simulate real-life scenarios.

One such mini-game challenges players to determine if an email is spam or not, teaching them the importance of email safety. These interactive learning experiences seamlessly transfer into real-life situations, equipping players with the knowledge and skills to identify potential online threats.

Cyber Pup covers a wide range of subjects, including password safety, ciphers, and more. By introducing the techniques of cybersecurity, we aim to expand users’ understanding of how their information can be at risk.

We are proud to announce that Cyber Pup is a collaborative effort between two Virtual Student Federal Service (VSFS) interns and the U.S. Air Force Academy. Together, we strive to create a fun and engaging game that educates and informs middle school students about cybersecurity and online safety.

Join us on this exciting journey as we empower the next generation with the tools they need to navigate the digital world securely. Play Cyber Pup today!
